Remarks

I didn't applied to any other college but I gave JEE MAINS for the admission but wasn't able to get a good score to get into a top engineering college, I was left with private colleges to get admission in and I felt this college good for me in my college the admission is on the basis of your scores of JEE mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

There are about 60 people in my class and almost everyone is seated in the class for attendance..the girl boy ratio in my course is about 70:30..there are people in my college who are from different states of India, hence we have cultural diversity..most of the people including me attend classes for attendance cause the faculty teaching method is very poor excluding some of them.

Internships Opportunities

1

No my college doesn't give 100% intership opportunities to students .. students have to search the intership on their own ..some students who apply off campus for internship they get a paid internship often ..the intership scenario is worst in my college even in other courses also

Placement Experience

1

The placement season starts in the period of may-june-july..the placement is my college is not good people get a package of 3 LPA and many doesn't even get that.there used to TCS and Accenture to be the mass recruiters but now they also don't come to our college to hier students/freshers ..the role of the placement committee is worst.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my course in my college is about 2 lacs. I am a day scholar so I don't know about the hostel fee.the total fee I'll be paying until my graduation will be approx 8 lacs.the other expenses rather than the college fee is the transportation fee and the food that we eat at the cafeteria. Yes the fee vary for the different categories in my college. Yes my college provide scholarships to students but I guess that is only for financially challenged kids . The college fee of my college is I guess way higher than other colleges.q

Campus Life

4

The sports facilities is my college is good I would say there are indoor as well as outdoor games in my college ...there is a big cricket ground and a football ground for students to play ..yes there is a gymnasium in my college sports complex..there is not a swimming pool in my college...the auditorium and library are good in my college The overall campus life is enjoyable.. most of the students hang out after the classes or play sports..or sit in the canteen..yes the cafeteria is open till night and I have seen people roaming around at night ...the fest season in my college is around oct till Feb like the usual winter time.there are different clubs and societies in my college one of them in which I'm is IEEE Jamia hamdard student branch.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes the hostels for boys and girls are different..boys are not allowed to enter girls hostel and vica versa ...also I'm a day scholar so don't know much about hostel...yes each hostel has different mess .I'm a day scholar so can't tell much about the hostel ..but I can try ...the washrooms are common there are no attached bathroom as per I know ..if students don't get hostel they stay in PG or flats..

Exam Structure

For the admission in my college you have to fill the form of the college online via the website of the college itself...in my case , as said I'm doing engineering so they preferred by JEE mains marks as a the point of admission ...it varies from courses to courses how the admission process is held ..once you are selected then the councelling process starts and after that you get a admission in your course ...once the councelling process is done then the the classes starts after the orientation...yes there are different quota in my college for admission like NRI, sports and DONATION

The course was quite big and varied. Everything was included and it didn’t just suffice to a particular topic but everything included. Some students did fail in the examination. The course was a upperhand into making us study things that many people start after completing bachelors Every year 2 main exams were held Generally 6 classes were held per day We got around an hour of leisure time. I admire Pranjal sir, Sushmita ma’am, Lila sir, Happy Ma’am etc. They used to make me understand the topics very clearly and easily. Yes there was a mandatory attendance of atleast 75%

Placement Experience:

After the completion of final semester exams the final placement starts. It takes around a month for placement to officially get over. Around 10-15% students get final placement and the others don't. The college provides placement opportunity for many many years to ex students as well. The average ctc is around 3-4Lpa, the hightest is around 12Lpa and the lowest can go to 1-1.5 Lpa. Amazon, delloite etc are the most proffered ones don't know about their avg ctc. The placement committee has a strong role in guiding students and giving them opportunity in the placement drive of the college, it also provides many mock interview practices and expert counselling to know more about placements and yes the process is 100% transparent.

1. Placement Timeline: Final placements typically start in late January or early February and continue until the end of March. The process usually takes about two to three months to complete. 2. Placement Success Rate: While most students do get placed, about 10-15% may remain unplaced during final placements. To assist those unplaced, the college offers additional workshops, personalized mentoring, and access to companies that may not participate in the main placement drive. 3. CTC Offered: Average CTC: Approximately ₹6-8 LPA. Highest CTC: Can reach up to ₹20 LPA, especially from leading consulting and tech firms. Lowest CTC: Some students may accept offers around ₹3-4 LPA, particularly in smaller companies or startups. 4. Preferred Companies: Most preferred companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and various consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture. The average CTC from these companies typically ranges from ₹6-10 LPA. 5. Bulk Hiring Companies: Companies like Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro are known for bulk hiring. These companies generally offer average CTCs of around ₹6-8 LPA. 6. Role of the Placement Committee: The placement committee is responsible for coordinating the placement process, inviting companies, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance to students. While the process is generally transparent, some students feel that it could be improved, particularly regarding information sharing about job roles and company profiles. Overall, transparency is moderate but could benefit from clearer communication.

As am from second year I don't know much about placements. about the placement committee they are not that active that you can rely on them for placements. mostly students build profiles on linkedin and stay updated with the recruitments going on. Also sessions and seminars are conducted for profile building that are good. As of 2023, highest package was of around 37 lacs and an average package of around 6 to 7 lacs. the specialisations offered with this course are HR, FINANCE AND MARKETING.
