Chhattisgarh BSc Agriculture Admission 2023: Application Form, Registration Dates, Counseling, Top Colleges

CG PAT is an entrance exam conducted by Chhattisgarh University to grant admissions in Agriculture and Horticulture. Candidates who have passed the 12th standard can apply for the same. Admission to BSc Agriculture programmes at various universities for the 2023 academic year will be based on the results of a previous qualifying examination (merit) or an entrance examination.

This course will teach students about plant genetics, breeding, microbiology, pathology, and other topics. To be considered for admission to the BSc Agriculture programme, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
Many universities, including TNAU, offer a regular B.Sc. Agriculture programme. Admission to the BSc Agriculture programme will be based on merit as well as the results of entrance exams such as the AIEEA. The minimum eligibility requirement for this course is a 50% grade point average in 10+2 science. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will be conducted in the month of May 2023 to offer Chhattisgarh BSc Agriculture Admission 2023.

  • The candidate must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board/ university with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences/ Agricultural Science, and Agricultural Mathematics/ Crop Production and Horticulture as mandatory subjects.

  • Visit the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB).
  • Next, on the homepage, click on ‘Online Applications for PAT 2023’
  • It will take the candidate to a new window, click on the 'New Online Registration' section.
  • Now, fill- in all the details required, such as personal and academic details.
  • Upload passport size photograph and signature.
  • Fill in the basic and contact details of the candidate.
  • Once, all the details are filled in, check the details again, and click on 'Submit'

The Counseling process for Agricultural courses will be held after the declaration of CG PAT Results 2023. Generally, the results are based on the entrance examination scores but due to the current COVID situation, Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has decided to conduct the counseling process based on merit obtained by the candidates. The dates for the counseling process commencement will be announced soon.

Preparation Tips: Mental Ability section is mainly based on previous years papers. Most of the questions are repeated. For Chemistry, it includes areas of Organic, Inorganic and Physical. For Organic, you must have knowledge of the mechanism of basic reactions of addition, substitution, elimination with popular named reactions like Cannizaro, Williamson, Wurtz, OMDM, HBO etc. Inorganic has basic trends of periodic table, Solubility, thermal decomposition. Chemical bonding and coordination. For Physical, revise all the basic questions of equilibrium, electrochemistry, Solubility, Surface Chemistry, Chemical kinetics, Thermodynamics and Mole Concept.
