M.Sc Agronomy, Banaras Hindu University (2018)

B.Sc in Agriculture at BHU is a combination of theoretical studies, lab and fieldwork. It will be a good option to pursue. The scope of the course includes:

  • You can further study for an M.Sc. in Agriculture. Some students receive JRF scholarships for pursuing it.
  • You can go for a PhD and ultimately land in the ICAR research network as researchers or scientists and assistant professors.
  • You might also have a chance of getting a masters in a reputed foreign university.
  • With proper guidance you can crack civil services exams.
  • You can pursue MBA from top notch colleges in India.
  • Try for internships in organisations like NABARD, RBI.
  • If you want to be an entrepreneur, you can set up seed production units, tissue culture units, etc. after gaining proper technical knowledge from the master's course.

Therefore, if you want best results, it is suggested you go for a Masters degree followed by a PhD degree to gain proper knowledge and experience about the subject, which will then open several avenues.
