The distance from Mangalore to Gonikoppal is 200 Kms and Mysore to Gonikoppal is 90 Kms. • The College Men’s football team earned 5th place in the Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Football tournament held at Upendra Pai Memorial College, Udupi

• The College Volleyball Men’s team emerged champions and won 5,000.00 at Srimangala organized by JCI.They actively participated in the Volleyball tournament organized by G.F.G.C, Virajpet on 1st February 2013

• N.G. Kariappa won 1st place in Cross Country organized by J.C.I Ponnampet on 15th Aug 2012. Pooja U.M won 1st place in 100mts, 200mts & relay 2nd place in Discuss throw at Taluk level Dasara meet and also won the individual championship
