It was done to promote multidisciplinary and comprehensive education. Students will have access to various academic fields, including professional, technical, and vocational ones.
Female Students, Maternity Leave
The council also granted 240-day maternity leave for female students in addition to dual degrees. Recently, the University issued an application call for its Undergraduate Degree Program (Semester system). Before September 23, 2022, interested and eligible candidates must apply to the website.

Students Are Entitled to Disciplinary Punishment For The Exam Goof
The VC stated that the Board of Examiners (BoE) would face disciplinary action for the error in the BBA Kannada second semester question paper within 15 days. The first semester's exam questions were given to the students.
Yadapadithaya stated that the university would create a thorough standard operating procedure (SOP) for the exam process. There is an SOP, but it will be strengthened to close existing gaps. He said that a committee had been established for the purpose.
He added that assessors would also face punishment for inconsistent assessment of the answer scripts. The revaluation cost will be repaid if the student who requested it received more than a 20% difference in their final grade.
Such instructors' salaries will be withheld, and they will be required to pay the costs associated with the revaluation. Additionally, a warning letter will be sent. Previously, if there was a 10% discrepancy in the marks achieved during revaluation, only 50% of the money was reimbursed.
