About St. Aloysius College
St. Aloysius College at Mangalore is a Co-Educational institution with a prideful history of around 140 years. Since 2007, the college has been granted autonomous status. The college belongs to a network of educational institutions managed by members of the Society of Jesuits, a religious group with schools, colleges, and universities in more than 105 countries/regions in the world. For UG courses, the candidates have to pass 10+2 with minimum of 50% in relevant subjects. For PG courses, the candidates must have bachelor degree with minimum of 40% in relevant subjects. For Diploma courses, the candidates must have bachelor’s or master’s degree in any subject from a recognised institution.

- About the course, it is the best option for an MBA aspirant to choose, as the college and staff are excellent in helping the students learn everything, either through viva, presentations, or tests/projects.
- Many internships are provided by the college. Moreover, the college conducts plenty of webinars and seminars alone or in collaboration with other colleges.
- The best companies come with vacancies, and students are hired for good posts with a good pay scale.
- There are post-metric scholarships available for minority students, as well as national scholarships for students who have achieved good marks in the PUC.
- Aloysius had every extracurricular activity I know of. We had basketball, cricket, throwball, volleyball, badminton, handball, and all athletic sports, which are the best in class and well maintained.
- Its very good. The food and all are good. Good ambiance. The people of the hostel are friendly, and the hostel is very clean. The hostels management is good.
- If you want to be the best version of yourself, St. Aloysius is the college to be.
Dislike
- The course is a little bit heavy for our batch, as we, being in the 2nd year, are studying half portions from the 3rd year as well.
- The sad part is that only a very few, like 5%, of those who go for the interview get the job.
- We have a post-matric scholarship, Arivu loan, and the topper of the college is also provided with a scholarship. There is a concession for the poor
