Academic Requirement:

H.S. (10+2) examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent Qualified Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board / JEE(Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and recommended by the WBJEE Board
80% seats to be filled from qualified WBJEE candidates, 10% from qualified JEE(Main) candidates and 10% under Management Quota for candidates having valid rank cards of WBJEE / JEE(Main).
An additional intake of 20% of the approved intake in the 2nd year (Lateral Entry) from Diploma holders and B.Sc degree holders through JELET conducted by WBJEE Board.

Campus is also very good, organised with the trees and plants
I loved the campus the surroundings the faculty members the clubs the activities and our library a lot.

Dislikes

75% attendance is mandatory in the college otherwise the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the semester exams which is not a good rule.
Campussing is not good and very few it company came for placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen this course because it has good job opportunities. This course has a lot of scope. The faculty member of this college is very good. The faculty has great knowledge and experience. Most of the teachers in our faculty are all phd and some have masters. And every month we do have exams of 25 marks which are mandatory as the best of 2 marks will be considered and added to your final marks. It is not very difficult to pass the exam level of questions is not too high. it can be easily solved and you will get suggestions before the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to encourage my career in computer science, so I took IT department. there is the ratio of faculty members is 1:5. The maximum teacher in my department all are doing PHD in their subject. They are friendly, a philosopher guide. there were 6 internal exams and 2 exams under the board

Should I go for chemical engineering at Heritage Institute of Technology or CSE at Techno India, Salt Lake ?

Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) is a very popular engineering institute and if you are interested in pursuing Chemical engineering then you should definitely take admission in this college.

The competition is much less for chemical engineering students and a lot of facilities are available for them.
There are a lot of placement opportunities available for students and they can easily get a job in both core and IT companies.
Many students are getting PSU through GATE and some core companies such as BOC, PCBL, Paharpur Cooling towers, Voith Papers, etc. visit the campus for interviews.
But if you are interested in technology and coding then you should probably choose Techno India as this college provides very good opportunities to CSE students.
The placements available are very good and top companies such as TCS, Infosys, CTS etc visit the college for interviews.
The college provides very good facilities and support to teach you coding and if you are really interested in it, then you will be able to master it with your patience and hard work.
And your coding skills are not determined by your college or branch.
You should be really passionate about it to be successful in this field.
