Bachelor of Education or B. Ed. as it is usually referred to is an undergraduate bachelor degree program offered by many universities/colleges across the country. The course is taken up by students who are interested in teaching. The course is a professional course and their minimum eligibility criterion is that the student must have completed their undergraduate degree course is any discipline.

A candidate who has passed any undergraduate and/or any postgraduate degree and/or any equivalent examination offered by the universities having U.G.C. recognition.

There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor for SC/ST, Category – I /Physically Challenged candidate. Reservation of seats for different categories is in accordance with Government order issued from time to time. Students of Universities other than the Mangalore University should produce the Migration Certificate.
