In Person:
Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres (detailed on Anna University’s official website) by paying Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft.
By Post:
Application Forms can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed

The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015; the procedure for registration is available in the website. All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05th May 2015
Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft
Application Submission:
Completed the application forms along with the required documents should be mailed in an A4 size envelope to the address:

Other Communities (OC):
(Communities other than BC / MBC / SC / ST) Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 55% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
Backward Class Community (BC) of Tamil Nadu:
Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar
Most Backward Class Community (MBC) of Tamil Nadu:
Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar
SC/ST Community of Tamil Nadu:
Mere pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The Candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar. Note : Candidates from other states irrespective of their community are considered as OC (Other Community)
Other Communities:
Pass in 3 year Diploma examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of respective states in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in the final year examination. Pass in any recognized bachelor’s degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics as a subject
Backward Class Community of Tamil Nadu:
An aggregate of 50% marks in the final year diploma examination / Final yearB.Sc.degree course
Most Backward Class Community of Tamil Nadu:
An aggregate of 45% marks in the final year diploma examination / final yearB.Sc.degree course
SC/ST Community of Tamil Nadu:
Merit pass is enough in Diploma Course / B.Sc. Degree course.
