About PEC
Prathyusha Engineering College (PEC) Thiruvallur is a reputed engineering college and the recipient of 5th Rank in 2017-18 University Results among 497 Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu. The mission of the college is to emerge as a premier Institution in the country by developing centers of excellence in frontier areas of Engineering, Technology and Management”. PEC, Thiruvallur is a self-financed Telugu Minority Institution approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai accredited by NBA and a recipient of ISO certification. The institute has received NAAC Accreditation with A Grade for its state of the art infrastructure and best in class academic programs.
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in its engineering department. Admission is based on national level entrance examinations such as TNEA, TANCET and GATE respectively. The institute currently has a strength of over 2500 including male and female students, as well as a highly qualified and accomplished faculty of over 230 members.

Apart from giving quality education, PEC Thirvallur also gives vast job opportunities to placement interested candidates of the college. The Training and Placement Department work for all the placement and internship programs related affairs in the well-being of the students. The Department organizes classes from third semester onwards, on the topics of communication skills, quantitative aptitude and computer programing and languages. Ques. How to apply for admission at Prathyusha Engineering College?
Ans. Eligible candidates must first apply online to receive the application. Once the application is received, PEC will send the SMS status of the application based on PCM marks out of 200. For this, they convert marks in Mathematics out of 100 and combined marks in Physics & Chemistry out of 100. Once the candidate gets acceptance to join the institution, he or she will need to pay INR 25,000 to reserve the seat. The candidate will also be required to get all their original documents verified before the confirmation of admissions. If the candidate has submitted their original certificates/documents in an Institution then they need to get a bonafide letter from Head of Institution to that effect.
