Maitreyi college offers mostly UG courses in the field of arts and commerce with a duration of 3 years with seventeen specializations under B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc courses. To be eligible for UG courses, students need to pass 10+2 level with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognised board. Maitreyi College UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Maitreyi college must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

• Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
• Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
• Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Maitreyi College offers MA & M.Sc courses with 2 specializations at the postgraduate level. The basic eligibility for getting admission into the postgraduate programs at Maitreyi College is Graduation & the candidates are selected to such courses either through merit secured in the qualifying examination or based on the merit in PG entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi. Maitreyi College offers the postgraduate courses for a duration of 2 years.

Maitreyi College PG Eligibility Criteria

For Entrance-based Admission:

Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% in relevant subjects from a recognized university for getting admission into MA/ M.Sc at Maitreyi College.

For Merit-based Admission:

Candidates must have passed Graduation with 60% in relevant subjects from a recognized university for getting admission into MA/ M.Sc at Maitreyi College.

Maitreyi College PG Selection Process

• Admission is granted on the basis of Merit and valid CUET PG scores.
• As per DU guidelines students who have completed their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit-based admission.
• Candidates Graduating from different Universities or with a Bachelor’s Degree in different subjects must qualify the DU conducted entrance exam (CUET PG).
