About Aditi Mahavidyalaya

Aditi Mahavidyalaya is a renowned women's college affiliated with Delhi University. The college provides UG courses along with professional courses. All the courses are offered in several departments. With the highly qualified faculty members the college has been accredited by NAAC and approved by UGC. 

Aditi Mahavidyalaya offers UG and Certificate courses in various specializations. Admission to UG courses including B.El.Ed will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counseling. For certificate courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

There is a Training & Placement cell which conducts recruitment drives every year. A good number of students get placed in reputed organisations like, Deloitte, Accenture and a lot more. The placement drive 2021-22 concluded with more than 80 students being placed in

Aditi Mahavidyalaya Admission Process 2024

Aditi Mahavidyalaya admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET UG examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the DU CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at Aditi Mahavidyalaya start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose [College + Course] preferences. The entire selection process is done via the DU CSAS portal in multiple rounds. The admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Aditi Mahavidyalaya admissions are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The table below lists the entrance exam accepted for various courses at Delhi University:

Step 2: DU CSAS Registrations and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences. 

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats. 

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check the seat allotment results by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.

Aditi Mahavidyalaya Scholarship

Aditi Mahavidyalaya provides scholarship aids to the meritorious, deserving and needy students. The college has 3 level Scholarship programs: 

  • College Level Scholarship: These scholarships are for the students who score brilliant in academics. These types of scholarship programs are based on academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and attendance. There is a scholarship for specially-abled students as well. College Level Scholarship are: 
    • Pushpa Bhatnagar Education Trust Scholarship: This is for the topper students of the college. 
    • Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is for the students who secure 60% or above marks in aggregate. 
    • Shri S. Krishan Tiwari Scholarship: This aid is for the student who scores highest in B.A (Hons.) in Hindi. 
    • Smt. Laxmi Tiwari Scholarship: This is for the topper students of BA Hons. In Hindi Journalism.
  • University Level Scholarship: At University Level Scholarship,there are two types of scholarships provided. This is for the students who are pursuing a 3 years Honors program at Aditi Mahavidyalaya. 
    • All India Entrance Examination Scholarship: This scholarship is provided based on the marks obtained by the students in the competitive examination conducted by Delhi University. The award prize is INR 250 per month. Those students, who have scored 55% aggregate marks at 10+2 level or equivalent exam are eligible to appear in this competitive exam. 
    • V.C. Scholarship: This scholarship belongs to the candidates who are from reservation categories. They must fulfill the eligibility criteria released by the University. 
  • State Government Level Scholarship: The state government offers scholarships to the merit holders and students belonging from financially poor backgrounds. State Government Level Scholarship are noted below: 
    • Delhi Government Scholarship to SC/ST Candidates: This is for the reservation categories.
    • Post-Merit Scholarship through Govt. Of NCT of Delhi: This Scholarship is for the low income group. 
    • State Government Award: Candidates who have scored 70% or above at 10+2 level related to Humanities & Commerce, can avail this scholarship. The award includes INR 5000. 
    • Sanskriti Academy Scholarship: This is for the students who have secured at least 70% marks in Sanskrit. 
    • Dr. V.K.R.V. Rao Endowment Scholarship: This is for the low income group student.

Aditi Mahavidyalaya Facility

  • Library: The library of Aditi Mahavidyalaya is a two storied building. It caters to the requirements of 2500 UG students. The library has a seating capacity of 200 students at a time. Students are required to pre-subscribe for the library card to be a member. The library is open five days a week, Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm for students and faculty.
  • Computer Center: The computer lab has about 120 computers. The computers are upgraded with the latest software and hardware versions. Internet access is available throughout WiFi connectivity across the college campus. 
  • Labs: Aditi Mahavidyalaya has 9 laboratories in and are classified into departments. All the laboratories are well-equipped with the major basic amenities. 
  • Faculties: The college has appointed some of the best faculties who are highly educated, experienced and knowledgeable in their field of study. A total number of 110 experienced, accomplished faculty members are there to help, support and give encouragement to the students. 

Aditi Mahavidyalaya Placement

Aditi Mahavidyalaya has a special Training & Placement Cell that offers various job opportunities and internship programs to the students as per their caliber. The Cell arranges numerous seminars and workshops related to the placement drives such as, interview sessions, aptitude tests, personality development & group discussion sessions, and many more. Aditi Mahavidyalaya has secured a median package of INR 3.20 LPA for 48 students for batch 2022.
