J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology Admission 2024: Admission form, Important Dates

At postgraduate level, J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology offers courses Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various specializations such as Structural Engineering, Computer Science Engg, Software Engg, VLSI System Design, Electrical Power Systems, Energy Systems and CAD/CAM. The courses offered are for a duration period of two years. Intake capacity are 18 seats for each of the specializations.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For GATE, eligible candidates may visit the official website.

Eligible candidates who want to take admission in M.Tech can also appear in Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (TS PGCET). Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is Telangana State Level Common Entrance Test for Admission into Regular PG Courses conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a Statutory body of the Government of Telangana., Hyderabad.

Apart from the other courses, at postgraduate level, J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology offers courses Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration for a duration period of three years and two years respectively.

First and foremost thing, candidates must a hold a Graduate Degree in relevant discipline.  Then they must appear in TS ICET. TSICET-(Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test -TS ICET) is for admission into M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges for the academic year . This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
