Getting admission at JNU is highly competitive as more than 3 lakh students apply for 5,000 seats. JNU provides 100% weightage to Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to UG (except BTech) and PG (except MBA and a few M.Sc courses). Ques. How many BTech specialisations are offered in JNU?
Ans. JNU offers Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech.) programme under the School of Engineering. The four year B.Tech. programme has 2 specialisations. B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. There are two modes of admission into the 4 year program. Ans. JNU offers MA Economics under the school of International Studies. The eligibility criteria of MA Economics includes Maths as a main or subsidiary subject. The eligibility for the Master’s of Arts course is as follows.

Ques.Are there seats available for non-CAT candidates in JNU?
Ans. JNU’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee School Of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) admits students for MBA degree. The admissions to the 2-year program is based on CAT scores. Ans. Yes, alongwith the reservations, JNU provides scribes to the eligible candidates by NTA as per Government of India/NTA rules. JNU Scholarship: NAAC accredited Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) with an ‘A’ grade. While UGC gave it the status of ‘University of Excellence’, JNU ranks 2nd in the NIRF 2023. With more than 50 centres, 13 schools and numerous special centres, JNU has provided the most affordable education to some of the brightest minds of the nation. In order to financially support the economically weak students, JNU scholarships offer monetary rewards to deserving students.
JNU scholarships are offered to meritorious and needy students across all the 100 courses offered by JNU. The scholarships are awarded as a one-time grant or monthly rewards to meritorious and financially weak students. JNU scholarships are based on merit, and may be renewed every year after evaluating the progress of the candidate. These scholarships are provided by various departments of the esteemed university, UGC and more such organisations.
JNU scholarships are for academically deserving students, category, minority students, single girl child, at UG, PG, Ph.D/M.Phil level.
