JNU MCA Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for MCA admission at JNU, candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s in any discipline related to Mathematics with at least 55% in aggregate marks.
JNU MCA Admission Process
Admission to MCA will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) conducted by NTA. Candidates must clear the CUET PG exam in order to get admission to MCA at JNU. No Viva-Voce will be conducted by the university this year. The selection will be based on the basis of performance in the CUET PG exam. The final selection will be based on the merit list released by the university.

Ques. Are there hostel facilities offered for JNU MCA candidates?
Ans. Yes, the hostel is open to students of every course. There are limited separate hostels for both boys and girls. Students requiring hostel facilities are required to fill the forms and submit them as soon as possible. The reservation for the hostel is given on a priority basis. The students can find the hostel forms are available in the online prospectus.
Ques. What are the documents JNU MCA students will need for applying to the hostel?
Ans. The students requiring the hostel facilities are required to submit documents with their hostel forms. The documents to be submitted are:
- Copy of the Admission Folio.
- Copy of the subject Folio from the school/ Centre.
- Photocopy of Passport/ Voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ Domicile Certificate (The original document needs to be produced at the time of allotment)
- Copy of Electricity Bill/ Water Bill/ House Tax Receipt/ Paying Guest Receipt (Mandatory for outstation students who were living or lived in private accommodation in Delhi during their studies)
- Employer Certificate (Outstation Students whose parents are working in Delhi should submit a certificate from their employer mentioning that they haven’t been allotted any Residential accommodation)
- Migration Certificate (Students who have more than one-year Gap period but not above 5 years after qualifying examination)
- Work Experience Certificate (Students who have more than one-year Gap period but not above 5 years after qualifying examination)
- Outstation students who were staying in Delhi with their parents are transferred/ retired should submit a Transfer/ Retirement order of parents with an official resident vacating certificate from the employer.
- Hostel resident certificate (who are staying/ stayed in college & another recognized hostels/ Paying Guest accommodation)
- Photocopies of the Anti-Ragging affidavits.
- Copies of Admission Offer Letter, Medical Insurance Certificate, Passport, and Visa (Only for Foreign Nationals)
