Hindu College admission 2023 for all UG and PG are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by NTA. For UG programs, candidates are required to appear for the CUET UG exam and applicants for PG program are required to appear in the CUET PG exam. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions has been scrapped from the academic year 2023.
Once the CUET result is out, registration process for all UG and PG programs will start on Delhi University’s admission portal - admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates will then be required to fill program and college choices for seat allocation. Seat allocation for UG courses will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
For PG admission, 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of the candidates merit in the qualifying examination. The merit based option is open only for the candidates who holds a bachelor's degree from Delhi University. Remaining 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of candidates rank in CUET PG examination. The final selection will be based on merit list released by the institute for both merit and entrance based admissions. Hindu College offers various UG courses for a total of 3 years. Students are also able to opt for the Hons. programme for the UG courses. The basic criteria for admission into the UG programme is now based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), followed by e-counseling.

Selection to UG courses are based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling.

Admission dates are declared by the Delhi University. The university opens a common UG application portal where candidates can submit their applications.
The PG courses offered in Hindu College are M.A., M.Com and M.Sc. All the three PG courses are offered for a 2 duration and as full time courses. Candidates must qualify Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subjects to apply for any of the PG courses. Admission is granted on the basis of entrance exam scores, merit and interview.

Ans. If the student belongs to the general category then he/she will have to score 96% and above for admissions. While the reserved category students are expected to score around 94% or above.
Ques: Students who did not have Mathematics in Class XII can apply for Economics (H) or B.Com. (H) in Hindu College?
Ans. No, those who did not have Mathematics as a subject in class XII are not eligible to apply for Economics (H) or B.Com. (H) in Hindu college.
Ques: Once the cut offs are declared by DU will there be a first come first serve admission provision in Hindu College?
Ans. DU colleges’ admissions are not applicable as a first come first serve policy. Applicants must first fill the online application form and fulfill all the eligibility criterias. Also, they need to qualify the cut off percentage decided by DU for a specific course in a specific college. Accordingly admission will be considered and scheduled.
