Yuvaraja's College, Mysore Admission 2024: Ph.D. Admission, Important Dates

Under Graduate courses offered by the college are BSc/ BBA/ BCA of 3 years duration.

Applicants who have passed 2 years of Pre-University Examination in Science stream conducted by the Pre-University Board of Examination or any other equivalent examination are eligible to get admission in BSc course.

Those who have passed 10+2 or PUC or equivalent qualifying examination and have studied Mathematics are considered eligible to get admission in BCA program. For BBA Admission minimum eligibility criteria is pass in 10+2/ PUC or equivalent examination in Commerce stream from a recognized Board.

Admission to any UG course is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination. Admission against 50% seats in each course is given through General admission and the remaining 50% are filled under self-financing scheme (PSFS).

Eligibility Table

• Candidates are shortlisted as per their merit and they are called for counselling process for the allotment of seat.
• Those who have opted for Botany, Zoology, and Biotechnology in BSc must have studied Biology in the Pre-University course.
• Applicants may select Earth Science and Resource Management even if they have not studied the same in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates opting for Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science must have studied Mathematics in addition to Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
• 20% seats are under the partial self-financing scheme.
• 50% seats are under fully self-financing scheme in Biotechnology.
• BBA is run under self-finance scheme.

Yuvaraja’s College offers Integrated MSc/ MSc/ MA/ MBA courses each of 2 years duration except Integrated MSc course as it is of 5 years duration.

Students who have passed BSc course or have an equivalent degree from a recognized University are eligible to apply for MSc admission, whereas for MA program candidates with BA or equivalent degree in relevant discipline are considered eligible.

Similarly, for MBA program candidates with BBA or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible.

• Admission to any PG program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination as per the guidelines of the University.

Ph.D. course offered by Yuvaraja’s College is a full-time course of 3 years duration.

Applicants with Post Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline from AICTE approved University are considered eligible to get admission in the Ph.D. program.
