Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering (SCRRCE) is the first engineering institute in Andhra Pradesh sanctioned by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Established in 1989, Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering (SCRRCE) is permanently affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The college currently offers BE / B.Tech, M. Tech, MCA and MBA courses in various disciplines.

Candidates applying for B. Tech programs are required to apply through AP-EAMCET
M. Tech candidates can apply with their GATE score.
If valid GATE score is not available, AP-PGECET scores are given preference unless the candidate is applying through management quota.
Candidates must be able to produce original copies of education documents at the time of counselling.
Candidates applying for M. Tech. program are selected through a counselling process and on the basis of GATE score.
B. Tech candidates are selected based on the rank/ score in AP EAMCET , followed by a counselling session where seats are allotted according to merit.
GATE score is mandatory for admission to any of the M. Tech. courses.

Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering offers B.Tech under seven disciplines which include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Electronics & Instrumentation. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech course is 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in AP EAMCET.
Final list of selected candidates is announced only after completion of counselling.
Allotment of seats and study center is subject to rank/score secured by the candidate in the entrance exam.

First preference given to candidates based in AP & Telangana state.
70% of the total seats are reserved for candidates applying through AP-EAMCET.
30% seats are filled based on 10+2 merits in compliance with APSCHE guidelines.
Admission through lateral entry is conducted on ECET merit.
Maximum duration to complete B. Tech program is 8 consecutive years.

Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering offers three M. Tech courses, two ME courses and a MBA and MCA program. For admission to M. Tech and M. E. programs, the candidate should possess BE/ B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.

Candidates are further required to apply with a valid GATE score.
Those applying without GATE score are required to appear for AP PGECET.
For MBA and MCA program, a graduate degree with minimum 50% marks is necessary.
Selection to MBA/MCA done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the last qualifying exam.
GATE qualifiers, MBA and MCA candidates do not require to appear in the entrance test.

Application forms can be obtained from the college’s admission cell upon payment of the requisite application fee. Only offline mode of submission of applications and fee payment is recognized by the institute.

For management quota seats, admission are based on the marks obtained in graduation.
Application fee for AP PGECET for M. Tech courses is INR 857.50.
For applicants belonging to reserved categories, there is a relaxation of 5% in minimum required percentile in the last qualifying exam.

Candidates applying for admission to B. Tech programs offered by Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering can do so only through AP EAMCET website. It is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission to B. Tech program to appear for APEAMCET.

The process to apply for AP EAMCET is as follows:

Candidates should log on to the AP EAMCET website
The first step is the payment of application fees (INR 507.50) which can be done using a credit/debit card.
Candidates are required to fill in particulars such as last qualifying exam hall ticket number, DOB, course applying for and other relevant details before the payment page is released.
Once done with the payment process, candidate can proceed to fill the application form with all the requisite details.
Scanned copies of recent passport-size photo and signature will be required at the time of filling the form.
After all the necessary details have been filled, the applicant can click on the “Submit” button and take a printout of the submitted application form for future references.
Exam Hall Ticket should be downloaded from AP EAMCET website before the designated entrance exam date.
The candidate is allotted seat and course based on his/her marks in AP EAMCET and choice of course and study center. The final merit list is declared after counselling.
Candidates are required to produce original copies of all relevant documents at the time of counselling for verification purpose.

M. Tech candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam, provided the applicant has a valid GATE score. In the absence of a GATE rank, the applicant is required to appear in AP PGECET. Applications for AP-PGECET can be submitted through the official examination website.

MBA and MCA candidates can apply directly by requesting a copy of the application form or by collecting it in person from the institute’s admission cell. Application fee, in this case, can be paid through cash or demand draft.

Reservation Criteria

70% of seats reserved for AP EAMCET candidates.
Seats are reserved for candidates applying under Management quota and Sports quota.
Other reservation norms are in accordance with the guidelines set by AP State Government.
