Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET) Admission 2024: Application process, Scholarship, Reservation

The 4-year B.Pharm is offered by Shri Shankaracharya group of institutions. Admissions are offered on the basis of the score of CG PPHT.

CG PPHT is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board for admission in undergraduate or Diploma in Pharmacy courses. The examination is held in offline mode.

Key Points:

• There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks at 10+2 level for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD categories of Chhattisgarh.
• The candidates who have passed 10+2 through distance learning program/open school are also eligible for admission in B.Pharm program.
• There will be no provision of reservation for SC/ST/OBC category candidates belonging to states other than Chhattisgarh. They will be considered for admission in unreserved category.
• The candidates who have passed diploma through distance learning will not be considered for admission in this course.
• The upper age limit for the unreserved category is 30 years (33 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female candidates of Chhattisgarh).

Admission to the 4-year B.Tech program is offered on the basis of JEE Main or CG PET score. CGPET is a state level test organized by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). The test is conducted for admission is various engineering, agriculture and dairy technology courses in government and private institution in Chhattisgarh. Key Points:

• The B.E course is offered in different specialization by SSGI FET, SSITM and SGEC.
• The candidates who have passed 10+2 through distance learning program are also eligible for admission in B.E course.
• There will be no provision of reservation for SC/ST/OBC category candidates belonging to states other than Chhattisgarh. They will be considered for admission in unreserved category.
• The upper age limit for the unreserved category is 30 years (33 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female of Chhattisgarh).
• B.Tech in any specialization is a four years regular course with eight semesters.

SSCET offers an M.E program in SSGI FET, SSITM and SGEC in various specializations. The selection process is same for all the three institutions and is based on the merit in the qualifying and entrance examination. Admission will be granted on the basis of valid GATE score followed by counselling.

Key Points:

• The minimum aggregate percentage is 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories of Chhattisgarh) marks.
• Candidates who have equivalent B.E degree like AMIE from a recognized institute/college which is recognized by MHRD are also eligible to apply for this course.
• The candidates who have passed 10+2 through distance learning /open school are also eligible for admission.
• The upper age limit for M.E course is 40 years (43 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD of Chhattisgarh) 

The MCA program is offered by Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions. Candidates have to qualify in CG Pre-MCA test or NIMCET to secure admission. SSTC also offers MBA program in Regular as well as part-time modes. NIMCET is conducted by NIT, Durgapur. It is a university level examination conducted in offline mode for admission to MCA program.

Chhattisgarh Pre-MCA test is conducted by Professional Examination Board for admission in MCA program in colleges located across Chhattisgarh state.

The M.Pharm course is offered by SSGI in three specializations. Students have to appear in GPAT to secure admission in this program. GPAT is a National level entrance examination conducted by AICTE.

Candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for this course. The application forms can be filled online through DTE, Raipur official website.

Note: The candidates who have passed 10+2 through distance learning /open school are eligible for admission.

Two Diploma courses are offered by SGEC and SSITM. The selection is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and PPT examination.

Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test is a state level test conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB). Candidates can apply online through DTE, Raipur website.

Key Points:

• Candidates must have Mathematics and Science in 10+2.
• The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category of Chhattisgarh require only passing marks in 10+2 for minimum eligibility in this course.
• The upper age limit for diploma engineering is 30 years (33 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category of Chhattisgarh).
