About SSGI
Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology is the first Engineering College in India to be named after Adi Shri Shankaracharya. The college is situated in Bhilai district of Chhattisgarh.
- The college is running different courses with the goal of providing undergraduate and postgraduate education in Engineering and Technology.
- SSCET has grown steadily in size and activities during the last five years of its existence. Initially the college started with the annual enrollment of 240 students whereas today it is 570. SSCET courses have been accredited by NBA.

- E-Library :Equipped with 18 Terminals for access of Online Journals & Internet.
- Centrally located, with a built up area of 2351 Sqm.
- Big reading hall (1395 sqm.) with seating capacity of 800 students.
- Facility of Centralized Air-cooling.
- Open access system in Issue & Reference section.
- Close Circuit TV based monitoring.
- In house developed library software.
- All operations and services in the Central Library are fully computerized.
