Cambridge Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2001 at Tatisilwai, a place 16 km away from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The institute was started under the guidance of late Dr Bahadur Singh – A Social Reformer and Educationist and was promoted by the Cambridge Trust of India (Registered under Indian Trust Act). Cambridge Institute of Technology Admission
Admissions for UG courses in CIT is based on the marks obtained by the students in the in JCECEB conducted by the Jharkhand Govt. pr JEE Mains. Candidates who secure positive marks in JCECEB/ JEE Mains can apply for CIT Ranchi. University will publish a merit-list after JCECE counseling.
Admission to M.Tech. will be granted on the basis of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). For MBA, CMAT will be required.
After filling the seats based on GATE or CMAT, based on the course, the remaining seats will be filled based on marks obtained by the undergraduate qualifying exams.
