Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, formerly known as Madhav Engineering College and commonly referred to as "MITS Gwalior", is a government-aided autonomous institute founded in 1957 and located in Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.

The institute offers UG, PG and Doctoral courses in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Computers etc. The institute conducts different admission procedures for different courses.

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) at the undergraduate level with a duration of four and five years respectively. The B.E programmes are offered under various specializations.

To admit the eligibility criteria of both of the UG courses, the candidates need to have a 10+2 level degree with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized institute.

In order to seek admission in B.E, applicants need to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) examination, conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. To apply online for JEE candidates are advised click the official website

Must clearer 12th with pcm JEE mains exam is required. The cut-off is around 88-90 percentile. MPDTE is the site to apply for the college. Then the process will select the candidate on the basis of percentile then the branch will allot to the students.

I got admission through the jee mains process and the cut-off for the branch in which I got admission is one lakh 60 thousand I got the application form from the mpdte website and the application fee was 1400 and the application date is around in the month of July and June and there is a reservation of home state and category wise also I think the admission process may be held in a more rapid manner.

Admission for Btech is possible when you take jee mains exam and fill out the mpdte counseling. Then you will easily get admission if you match the cut-off. For the general category, you need a minimum of 75 percentile to get admission. But if you are h domicile person and have another category and sanik Kota the cut-off goes very down and you will easily get a seat in it. There is clc round by which you can also get admission on the basis of 12 percent.

A student must have appeared in Jee mains exam and have at least an aggregate of 60 in pcm/pcb/commerce in class 12th. one can apply for admission at Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Technological Education (update) counseling and fill out MITS as a preference's application fee is Rs.1580. application dates are provided on its website mits gwalior. For reservation of seats, follow the rule of caste certificates.

Hello, there I am a student of electrical engineering department of Madhav institute of technology and science Gwalior and I am resident of Gwalior also so I didn't no enough about hostel Life ,it is one of best college for engineering in mp Placement ratio are good enough 80% student are placed with the average package of 5-6 Lac ,but college don't provide internship facilities Teacher are well experience in there subjects : Overall this is considerably in your college list
