The college offers full time B.E courses in 7 domains. The course is for 4 years on a regular basis.

JEC B.E and B.Tech Eligibility:

The minimum eligibility criteria is 10 and +2 with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together from recognized state board.

JEC B.E B.Tech Selection Criteria:

• The 12th exam results are taken for consideration.
• Then the applicants can apply for TNEA conducted by Anna University.
• Only students who have done their higher secondary in Tamil Nadu are eligible for applying for TNEA.

JEC Application Process For B.E And B.Tech:

• Visit the official website of Anna University or click here.
• Register through the link by entering the candidate's name, Email ID and mobile number once you have completed HSC.
• Upon submitting the registration form on the site, an Enrolment ID would be sent to the mobile number.
• Now, candidates can start filling out the application form with the help of an enrolment ID and password, entering personal, academic details.
• The candidates are requested to visit Anna University on the date given on the basis of their marks for counselling.

JEC offers 4 specialisations in M.E and 1 specialisation in M.Tech respectively. The candidates with graduation from respected streams can apply for M.E and M.Tech courses for 2 years on a regular basis.

Eligibility of Mark for Admission to I-Year B.E/B.Tech Programme (As per government)

JEC M.E and M.Tech Eligibility:

• The candidates must have passed BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline is the basic eligibility criteria.
• They must have an aggregate of minimum 55% from an AICTE recognised Institute or University.
• The candidates from other state universities can also apply if they are from an AICTE recognized institution.

JEC M.E and M.Tech Selection Criteria:

• The candidates must have a valid GATE score for higher education.
• Based on their score in TANCET the candidates are admitted.

Documents required at the time of Admission

• Scanned copies of academic details of 10th and 12th mark sheets are required.
• Scanned passport size photograph of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) is required.
• Scanned clear signature of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb) is required.
• Scanned copies of Category certificate, if applicable is required.
• A valid e-mail ID is mandatory.

JEC Application Process For M.E and M.Tech:

• The candidates are advised to download the application form for TANCET from the official website.
• Then they can apply for their respective courses using their login and password.
• The candidates with GATE score and graduation can apply for the courses in offline mode.

• Scanned copies of academic details of UG mark sheets are required.
• Scanned passport size photograph of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) is required.
• Scanned clear signature of the candidate in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb) is required.
• Scanned copies of Category certificate, if applicable is required.
• A valid e-mail ID is mandatory.

The college also offers a master’s programme in Business Administration courses as a 2 years full time program.

JEC Application Process For MBA:

• The candidates are advised to download the application form for TANCET from the official website.
• Then they can apply for their respective courses using their login and password.
• The candidates are advised to download the application form for CAT/XAT/MAT from the official website.

The college also provides a 3 years computer application course as an integrated program at PG level.

JEC MCA Eligibility:

• The candidates are expected to have completed a Bachelor’s in computer science or applications.
• They should have 10and 12th with mathematics as a subject with minimum 50% marks.

Selection Criteria:

The admission is based on the performance of the candidates in TANCET conducted by Anna University.
