IERT Allahabad Course Admission 2024: UPTAC, Eligibility, Cutoff, Selection

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech course should have passed the 10+2 examination from the U.P. board or any other equivalent examination conducted by a State Board/ Central Board (CBSE and ICSE)  with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subjects. Each branch of the B.Tech course has an intake of 60 students each.

As the B.Tech course of IERT is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, admission is done on the basis of merit in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted every year followed by an online state-level counselling. Students who possess Diploma in Engineering/ Technology are also eligible for admission into the second year as per the lateral entry scheme of AKTU.

No separate quota for candidates of other states. However, they will be given admission in case of non-availability of students from U.P. as per provisions laid down by U.P. government.

• Priority admission is given to students who have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
• UPSEE is generally conducted in the month of May every year by AKTU.
• Candidates meeting the merit scores need to select their seat and branch online during the UPSEE counselling.

Candidates applying for the 3-year Engineering Diploma courses should have passed Class 10^th examination with Science and Maths conducted by a recognized board of education. Admission to the course is done on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination, conducted by IERT itself.

Candidates applying for the one and half year post diploma in computer application should have done graduation in any discipline with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects at intermediate level (10+2) level.

Candidates seeking admission to the 2-year Management diploma course should have passed their 10+2 examination conducted by any recognized board. The management diploma is offered in three branches namely, commercial practice, materials management and marketing management.

Shortlisted candidates are intimated for counselling which is conducted at the Allahabad campus. The IERT entrance for engineering diploma courses is conducted in the month of June every year.

Priority admission is given to students who have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through a letter and intimated for counselling along with important documents.
