The annual fest and tech fest are Rivera and Prayukti respectively. They are conducted before the end of the even semester. Mostly in the month of April and May. The college has a huge library in which almost all the necessary books are available. We have a basketball court and grounds for cricket and football. There are various social groups... The best thing about this college is the campus

The name of the annual fest is rivera and the tech fest is pryukti these will be held in the month of April in the library lots of books are provided for each subject so that many of students can get this at a time in after every 2-3 months, there will some sports are organised inside the college like football, cricket etc.

Riveria is the annual fest where renowned celebrities perform in our college. Other Tech and science fests are performed around the year. The library is updated and well-managed. All the classrooms have projectors and white boards. We have different official clubs in our college.

Social life is also too good like each and every year an organized fest and there are a lot of things to learn. If you talk about sports so sports are also organized by the college among all branches like cricket, football, and volleyball tournament library is also there and there is a different types of books and journals present.

Campus life is awesome in this college as compared to colleges in west Bengal because it has a large campus area of approx 40 acres with a Gym library departmental store restaurant cafe workshops hostels big playground inside it. Rivera is the name of the annual fest that happens here every year. And prayukti is the name of the tech fest that happens. Overall you will experience different fest and cultural programs on different dates of the calendar year.

There are ANNUAL CULTURAL MEET(ACM) also held, tech fest like PRAYUKTI AND RIVIERA there are large library where we can afford all the dept books classroom is very good, also have digital classroom annual sports also happen in the college like cricket, football there are many types of clubs

Riviera is the annual fest conducted in HIT. And Prayukti is the tech fest of HIT. Both the fest are conducted in April. The library here is occupied with almost every kind of book ranging from course-specific books to fiction related. Journals are also present in the library. Every classroom here is occupied with black and green boards. The proper seating arrangement is present there. Smartboards are also present. The campus here is fairly big compared to other MAKAUT colleges. So lots of sports are played here regularly and extracurricular activities are also conducted at regular intervals. Here in HIT, many clubs associated with different purposes are present. HIT inside, Nivedita, and HIT times are some examples.

HIT has one of the biggest campuses in West Bengal, a vast campus with cafes, a garden, a swimming pool, playgrounds, the library is there. Prayukti is the annual tech fest of HIT where students of HIT and other colleges can take part. The annual cultural fest Riviera is also there where big names in the music industry and of TV and Fim are invited. Aryabhata central library is well equipped with all semester books, Tech books, Foreign journals, and story books as well. Classrooms are air-conditioned and have a projector in every class. Annual sports are there for male and female students. Clubs like the Computer Society of India and IEEE are there in college. Media House is named The HIT Times, and an NGO name Samarpan is there run by students for the development of slum kids.
