G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College (GPREC), established in 1985 is located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Anantapur. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have passed or are yet to appear for class XII or its equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada followed by counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 70% of the seats are called Category – A seats or Convener seats. The remaining 30% seats are called as Category – B seats or Management Quota Seats.
Admissions for Category –
- The seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counseling on the basis of EAMCET rank.
- Category-B seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.
Admission procedure for B.Tech (3 Year Programs for Diploma Holders)
Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 20% seats (supernumerary seats) are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into 2nd Year B.Tech directly.
- Admissions into 2nd Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by The Convener, ECET(FDH) Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET(FDH) and the rules of reservations.
- There are no B – Category(Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.

- Candidate must have passed B.E. / B.Tech degree in relevant discipline for admission in PG Courses with minimum of 55% ( 5% relaxation for reserved categories SC/ST)
