How to Apply?
Candidates are first required to appear for the entrance exam and wait for the result declaration. After that, the candidates will have to fill the UPSEE counselling form by following the steps mentioned below:

Course Structure
MBA course of BIET Jhansi is spread over a span of two academic years, i.e, 4 consecutive semesters. Each academic year comprises two semesters, namely, even and odd semesters. Below are the highlights:
- The course curriculum of first and second semesters includes at least one non-credit course along with credit courses. In third and fourth semesters, elective courses are offered.
- Additionally, one NPTEL course is offered in third and fourth semesters respectively.
- A total of 9 subjects are offered in the first semester whereas a total of 10 subjects are offered in the second semester.
Credits and Marks Distribution
MBA program at BIET is a credit-based course. Below are the highlights:
- Each subject of the first semester carries 150 marks.
- 9 subjects of the second semester carry 150 marks each and the 10th course carries 100 marks. 3 credits are also assigned to all subjects except the non-credit course.
- NPTEL courses of third and fourth semesters carry 100 marks respectively.
- All other subjects including elective courses and project reports are of 150 marks.
- All subjects offered in the course duration of 2 years weigh 3 credits each.
- First, Third and Fourth semesters are of 24 credits each whereas the Second semester is of 27 credits.
Examination
Examinations are conducted in the middle and at the end of each semester. A total of 3 examinations are conducted per semester - two are mid-semester examinations and one is the end semester examinations. Candidates are required to pass all the examinations of each semester in order to get admissions to the next semester and maintain a minimum required percentage or equivalent CGPA.
Evaluation
Evaluation of each semester is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in mid-semester and end semester examinations. Marks for two-semester examinations are added directly to the final mark sheet. Assignments, quizzes, surprise tests, laboratory tests and viva-voce are essential parts of examinations. Below mentioned is the weightage is given:
- Internal or Mid Semester Examinations (including CT and TA): 50 Marks
- Terminal (TE) or End Semester Examinations: 100 Marks
Summer Training
First-year students are required to undergo a 3 to 4 weeks training/ mini project in the summer vacations before the commencement of 3rd semester in various reputed firms and organizations. Similarly, second-year students are also required to undergo a training of 4 to 6 weeks while pre-final year students will undergo a 4 to 6 weeks industrial training.
Students are also required to submit a report after the completion of their training to the respective department. Marks and credits are also assigned for the same which are included in the final result of the candidate.
