Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree from a recognized Canadian university.
  • A degree from a non-Canadian university acceptable to UNB Law or in exceptional circumstances.
  • In their final year of a 4-year degree (120 credits) of full-time academic study or in exceptional circumstances, at least 3 years (or 90 credit hours) of full-time academic study at a recognized Canadian university.
  • Students hold a minimum GPA of 2.7 on 4.3 scales.
  • Submission of the LSAT Score is required.

Indian Student Eligibility

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Or, completed a master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
