The curriculum requires you to take many different requirements and electives that may not be related to your major, e.g communication. I think this is great as it widens your perspective/options and lets you try new courses. However, it may make it less flexible to take the courses that you really wanted to try since your timetable will get overcrowded and you are not allowed to take more than a certain amount of credits per year.

To apply for the M.Sc Finance program of UBC you must have a four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two years of study.
