International students are required to pay around 44,800 CAD as tuition fee for MBA at Sobey School of Business. In addition to this MBA candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $500 as seat deposit.
All candidates applying at Sobey School of Business are automatically considered for entrance scholarships ranging from $1,000 CAD to $10,000 CAD. Students can apply for additional scholarships in their second year.

MBA at Saint Mary’s University is offered in 3 formats - a full-time MBA, a part-time MBA and an Executive MBA program. Both the programs hold accreditations from AACSB. The full-time MBA program is offered for a duration of 16 months but is recognised as a two-year program. The program accepts students for a September start each year.
Students applying for admission for MBA at Saint Mary’s University should have an undergraduate GPA over 3.0 and minimum 2 years of work experience. Candidates also need to submit GMAT score of 550 or above.
Course Curriculum
- The full-time MBA program at Sobey School of Business includes 54 credit hours. Students are required to study 18 courses in total, which includes 6 Electives.
- In the last semester, students will be required to focus on a particular area. Saint Mary’s University MBA program offers four focus areas - Consulting, Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise and Sustainability.
- The school offers a local service learning immersion program. Students taking part in this program will connect with organizations to volunteer for projects.
- Students can also participate in intercultural/international immersion experiences. They will get the opportunity to go on an international class trip with a strong business focus. Or, they can also opt for individual study abroad opportunities.

Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.3 or grade "B"
Essays
- Essay 1: Describe a recent situation where you had to confront an ethical challenge in your personal or professional life. How did you address the challenge? What generalizations can you draw from this experience?
- Describe a recent event in your life when you overcame adversity and succeeded in a task or achieved a goal. What did you learn about yourself from this experience?
- Why do you wish to pursue a Sobey MBA at Saint Mary’s University? How does the MBA relate to your future career goals? Please be specific.
Note: Students are required to opt for two essays out of three options provided in the MBA supplementary form
