Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award is a premier scholarship which is awarded to support the finances of the member’s post baccalaureate study at renowned universities abroad. The scholar award is a one time scholarship in which a student can receive financial aid upto 2500 USD.

  • The Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award offers multiple merit based scholarships to the members who wish to pursue post bachelors degree in any university around the world.
  • Final selection is based on the academic performances, future goals and ambitions of the student.
  • Being the member of the golden key international honor society is a mandatory criteria to be eligible for the graduate scholar award.

The scholarship is offered by Golden Key International Honour Society that is the world's largest collegiate honor society for graduate and undergraduate students. The Society has strong relationships with over 400 universities across the world.

Eligibility Criteria

The students must meet the below-mentioned criteria in order to be eligible to receive the golden key graduate scholar award:

  • Nationality: No restriction in terms of citizenship
  • Academic Qualification: Must be a full-time or part-time student in a post-baccalaureate program of study at the time of application deadline.
    • OR Must be a full-time/part-time student in the senior or final year of the undergraduate program
    • OR Must be admitted or enrolled to post baccalaureate immediately after granting of the award
  • Membership: must be a golden key member (mandatory requirement)

Application Process

The prospective applicants are required to submit the documents and follow the guidelines mentioned below while applying for the golden key graduate scholar award:

  • CV/ resume
  • Official current comprehensive academic transcript
  • A personal statement in 5 pages (maximum), discussing the following points:
    • program you wish to pursue or are currently pursuing
    • university you wish to attend or are currently attending
    • information about the status of your application
    • when do you exactly plan to begin the program?
    • when is the anticipated date of completion?
    • factors and reasons why you are pursuing post baccalaureate or professional studies
  • The following question is to be answered within 500 words: How do you plan to use your post-baccalaureate degree to impact the world through academics, leadership and service?
  • Complete the program questionnaire present within the online application
  • Provide one letter of recommendation from any of the following:
    • The university faculty or staff member who is currently teaching you and is familiar with your academic performance and career
    • A current or former employer
    • An official from a university or organisation where you were involved in community service

In case you are a current undergraduate student, upload a copy of your acceptance letter issued by the university or institution you will be attending your post baccalaureate studies


Selection Process

Applicants will be considered or selected on the basis of

  • the reasons why they’re continuing their education
  • their academic performances and goals, career goals and
  • how optimistic the students are for their future ambitions.

These factors are taken into consideration for awarding the scholarships.

Additional details: The winners and non-winners for the golden key graduate scholar award will be notified via email latest by April 23, 2021, which is up to 120 days following the listed application deadline date.
