Laurier’s redesigned Master of Arts (MA) in English offers courses and faculty expertise in English literature and global cultures, film and media studies, and professional skills. The program will develop an understanding of the discipline, and improve their critical thinking and communication skills of the students through analysis and research.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A Bachelor of Arts (honours) with a major in English, or related field.
- A minimum cumulative average of B+ in English courses above the first-year level.
- Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a statement of research interests, a writing sample and letters of reference.
