- The UBC English Graduate Program, one of the most vibrant and wide-ranging in Canada, has been awarding the MA degree.
- University provides the flexibility to complete the MA program with or without a thesis, in one or two years. This program is offered on both a full-time or a part-time basis.
- The English Language program includes specializations in history and structure of language, discourse and genre analysis, and history and theory of rhetoric.
- Faculty members in the Language program teach and supervise research in descriptive linguistics, historical linguistics, cognitive linguistics, functional grammar, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, stylistics, genre studies, and history and theory of rhetoric.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Following are the academic requirements needed to attend the program:
- Students should hold a BA degree in English or any equivalent bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Students are expected to have a standing of a B+ (76%) average or better in their third- and fourth-year classes or at least 12 credits in third- and fourth-year English classes with an A- (80%) or better average.
Indian student requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree or a master's degree.
- The bachelor’s degree with 65% marks or 8 on a 10-point scale.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program

To apply for the M.Sc Finance program of UBC you must have a four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two years of study. You must also have at least studied one calculus course and one linear algebra course. International students must submit a valid ELP test score. GMAT score of 550 is preferred. For the M.Sc Business Administration program the admission requirements vary depending on the student’s educational background, work experience, and other factors.
Qualification and submission of GRE score is not necessary to get admission in the MS Pharmaceutical Sciecnes program of the University of British Columbia. You can apply for this program after completing a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least B+ grade and a valid ELP test score.
