The Centre for Environmental Engineering Research and Education (CEERE) in the Schulich School of Engineering (SSE) has the overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a comprehensive postgraduate program specialization in the multi-disciplinary field of energy & environment. Degrees with an interdisciplinary specialization in Energy and Environment:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Master of Engineering (MEng)
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree (4-years) from a recognized institution or an equivalent degree from the university.
- The related fields include a UG degree in Mathematics, Social Science, Statistics, History of Economics, Political Economy.
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 point system, over the past two years of full-time study (10 full-course equivalents or 60 units) of an undergraduate degree.

You can apply for the M.Eng Chemical and Petroleum Engineering proghram of the University of Calgary if you have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in chemical or petroleum engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. You must submit your official transcripts as well as a copy of your cetificate. International students must also submit a valid ELP test score unless eligible for exemption.
