I learned about this college through word of mouth from older friends who went there. The admission process was very easy (like most other Ontario universities done through OUAC). I applied to three other universities (Toronto, Laurentian, and Windsor). I choose this university because when touring the school I realized how nice the campus was- everything is conveniently together in one campus and there is a very warm sense of community there. The students are kind and the profs care about students. There is always help for anything you are experiencing. Ottawa itself provides the capital city advantage with lots of volunteer and job opportunities as well as delicious restaurants, lots of services, and tourism.
