Carleton University - Great teaching assistance

AC
8.8 /10

Good school for the program I wanted to take, and the city I study in is very big in the career path I'm hoping to take. Got a scholarship and an award, out of the 5 schools I got accepted to it was the highest amount of money. Wanted to go to this school since I knew I was going to university. I took law in high school and knew that was the path I wanted to take, and within the program, I am in I learn about so many interesting things.

Exams :

Perfect program in what career path I'm going to take, each semester I take 5 courses, which include mandatory psychology law criminology, and sociology. You must keep a 4 GPA in order to stay in this program which is low, and very easy to maintain. All of the professors in my program are very well educated which makes it a lot easier.

Internship :

I am not aware of internship opportunities, but I do know that they offer jobs on campus. I myself have never had a job on campus. From what I have understood, they make your hours around your schedule which is very convenient for students as some individuals may feel they cannot get a job because employers are not able to base it around scheduled classes.

Fees :

The fees are broken down into several categories in which you can opt in or out, obviously, there are only certain ones you can opt-out of. Obviously, tuition is not cheap, it is around over 7 grand which does not include living expenses, etc.

Examination Structure :

Exams run every day Monday-Sunday, there are 3 given times in which an exam can take place, and obviously they don't overlap which is awesome

Faculty :

Well, structured faculty, work it around the students. All the professors and presidents are so caring and care about the students. Many resources on campus to help you with everything.

Hostel :

Living on campus is a very easy way to meet new people, at my university the meal plan is included in tuition which is great! I also had a resident fellow, which I'm assuming all residents have.
