Overview

I wanted to go as far away from home as my parents would let me so that meant SoCal schools were my targets. UCLA didn’t have TAG or an undergraduate major similar to criminology, and actually UCI had the only true criminology program.

Fees

I ended up completing two years of study in one year and a quarter. Summer session is more affordable than others and I believe there is a unit cap per quarter for pricing (for example, 15 units per quarter is charged at x amount per unit but the 16th unit is free of charge). I believe I spent about $4,000 a quarter and then $1,000 per summer session, so maybe $15,000 total in tuition.

Overview

I like the residence and the city, and the program that I wanted they offered. It has a good reputation as a university. The city is nice and big and is great for students. My friend also decided to go to Halifax to study.

Fees

Tuition is about 7000 CAD a year, the residence is close to 10000 CAD depending on which you choose, then you also have to get a meal plan or live on the residence where you have a kitchen. Books are not too overpriced, and you can often get them second hand for much less.

How possible is it to get a school that gives free tuition for postgraduate diploma
R
Rubab

It is possible to study abroad for free but there are a lot of elements to it. Scholarships, Education Exchange Programs (EEPs), German Public Universities, Assistantships, Bursaries, Paid Internships, Part-time Work, etc., can help you bear the cost of your education. You need to bear other costs yourself, but the cost of pursuing higher education abroad can come at par with the aspects mentioned above.
