No, I live off-campus in Surrey along with my cousin in a shared apartment costing 1200 CAD a month. It's a spacious apartment with private bedrooms for the both of us. The con of the apartment being having a single bathroom which makes it harder to have multiple people over at times.

I chose langara since I couldn't seek direct admittance to SFU CS program. I hadn't even heard of an associate degree when i applied right after 12th. I was told that i didn't have the marks to get into SFU and was shown this as an alternative path. I'll be able to complete my first two years for cheaper as compared to SFU. Along with saving a ton of money, I'll get into SFU with repeating courses at an average of 3.00 GPA which is very manageable. I would call it a huge surprise since I never thought I would be attending a college instead of a university but I wouldn't change anything about it since I saved a ton of money along with securing a great overall GPA. I was also able to save money to buy a car of own in about a year. So my hunger for good performance is satisfied.

No, I live with my friends in a pg. Although, I would say that staying in a hostel would be better because finding accommodation outside the campus can prove to be difficult.

I chose this college because it is cheap, has good courses, a high acceptance rate, a high placement rate, a highly preferred location, and my friend's group was going together so it is always better to have known people alongside.

It was very close to home so that was the main reason for me to join. I applied to a Few more colleges in the metro Vancouver area but really wanted to go to Langara. I had a few friends going there and told me that the facilities and the teachers were really great. I feel very accepted and it’s a great learning environment

I lived in a basement and 40% of the fees were covered by me by working off-campus and the rest I got from my parents. I earned enough from my off-campus job so that I can pay for my food, living and mobile phone. All the transit charges were covered in tuition fees.

Most of my friends were here and they told me that it's a great college with many courses and great infrastructure. Then I went to one of the agents in India to apply for an offer letter for this college for Diploma in Computer Studies which was for $150. And when I received the offer from the college I paid the fees for the first semester and applied for my Canadian Visa and my 12th class results were really good too, 90% to be exact and I met all the requirements for this college and then I started my studies in January 2017.

I live off campus because our college does not offer a campus. Actually, if it had one I would live in there but now I have to live outside with other students. Thankfully it's near the college and downtown so it's easy to go everywhere.

This college had a very good reputation for computer science as it prepares you for both: university or work and indeed it does so. That is the main reason why I chose this college. Moreover, it's a very nice place.

I opted for this particular college instead of other colleges in Canada because it is near me and it has the program that I want and is the occupation that intended to pursue in the future. This is a good college.

I opted for this college because it is one bus away from home, had easy prerequisites, and was generally cheap in terms of tuition. there are programs that include university transfers as well, which I am interested in.
