A well furnished and infrastructures accommodation facilities are provided to students. Student hostels offer furnished, lockable rooms and shared facilities. These properties are designed for university students and provide a social atmosphere. The number of hostels situated nearby the University location offer meal plans and provide kitchen facilities too. Utilities are often included in the overall cost. Student hostels are located near RMIT campuses. (Brunswick) Don Bosco Youth Centre (male only) (Bundoora) La Trobe University, University Mews, (Carlton)Carlton Melbourne College. I found the Don Bosco the best for off-campus accommodation having facilities of club House, Indies games facilities and a pool for enjoyment, and if relatively adorable compared to others.

Student accommodation is quite expensive and will cost over $200 per week. It is more affordable to find other students and take up house-sharing accommodation. While some students choose to live in the Melbourne CBD (Central Business District or downtown), living there is very expensive and places are overcrowded. I chose to live in a nearby suburb, about half an hour away from the university by public transportation. It was more convenient and economical.

By connecting with existing and previous students, I understood that RMIT provided a good balance of academic and extracurricular activities which is important for one's overall development.

If you live in an apartment near university it is really good however they are built on busy roads, have free tram zones near university. In general u need to pay 275 to 340 dollars per week.

I choose this university due its quality education as got remarks from some old students and good ranking among overall universities all over the world.

I live in a room in a large house in Tragunina; one of the suburb of Melbourne. The cost per week is 150$ which includes internet facilities, Electricity and Water bill.

RMIT is one of the best colleges in Australia and also has a great ranking worldwide. This was the key factor that attracted me. Moreover it provided plethora of courses which helped me as i chose a course of my interest easily.

Renowned for practical learning, located in the middle of Victoria's capital city, Melbourne. Suited my academic background by offering practical development in business contexts. Wide variety of majors and a significant chance to experience all aspects of a business bachelor degree. Opportunities are available for internships, etc.

Campus accommodation is too expensive for me. I have tried looking at uni-lodge for various RMIT, even those in the suburbs area. It is even still too expensive for a space that small. I ended up going around to people at church asking if they knew someone who rents a room. I am now sharing a 3 bedroom apartment with 6 other people. And have one roommate.

I want to be a business analyst. Then I can get more points for my PR. After this, I also wanna learn early childhood education because that is my real passion. I chose this college also because of my bachelor degree in business.

For their media facilities, and the location of the campus was close to where I live. The school's reputation is also really good and it sounded like a good place to study the particular discipline that I wanted to do.

I have taken an apartment on rent with a few other mates. We don't have on campus stay and the other common spaces are too expensive for me. I guess having a hostel type model would make sense but the rents should ideally be cheaper.

I don't have an IT background and this course is for non-IT background students too. Plus, the industry connections are really good at RMIT. The course is more practical based than theory based which is ideal for me.
