Yes, depends, I started learning with the foundation to clear more relate to AUS standards and art. But if you are applying for B.arch or M.arch you need to submit Folio, Sop, and Interview, where they just like to know about your idea and why you want to do Architecture. Interview needed online, and Folio work.
Placement
It is all up to the person, that how they are dealing with real-life work and industry. It is all come from you academic, not saying with good grades but you're actual interest in the field. You need a good connection with outside uni, more references, and friends in the field. One can learn easily cuz there are many programs happening in uni-related career and industry meet-ups and so on. I can describe more in person or audio cuz writing sucks.
