International student living by her own in Melbourne

F
8.0 /10

Because it is good reputation and it offered me a pretty good program which allow me to complete my degree in less than 2 years as I have credit exemptions from my previous studies. It is also very helpful in assisting international student.

Course Curriculum :

Good variety of selection available including sports, international groups, and leisure. Also student union which provide free food and help in assignments if needed. Student counsels also provide sufficient help too.

Exams :

Malaysia SPM 7A, with english scoring A+ which is equivalent to TOEFL, score A3 so I didn't have to take IELTS.

Placement :

Helpful and nice staff that will help you with your career be it intern placement casual part-time job or anything. Everything is also available online for you to get information on job seeking and internship.

Internship :

Yes but I did not take any internship as I was only there for 2years and I wanted t complete it as soon as possible but now to think about it I should probably apply for one as it seems very helpful for getting the student into the industry if they have no experience in that field at all.

Events :

Many events going on in the school every semester. For example, every festival was celebrated like the diwali recently. Beginning of every semester there is also orientation and welcome back week with tons of games and free food.

Fees :

Fees is actually very moderately priced at around 3thousand Australian dollar per module per semester.

Scholarship :

I don't have any financial aid.

Examination Structure :

Good. Tutor was very helpful and helped us through the practice questions. Sometimes it is multiple choice questions or short answers or essay but no matter what the exam area is given and plenty of resources is available.

Faculty :

Very new and good. Constantly improving. This year the library was upgraded and it looks very modern. I like it. The campus in Hawthorn is not very big but just nice.

Hostel :

I stay in a rented apartment by myself in the city as I find more freedom and choices I have. It is not hard to get a room or apartment on your own with the help of real estate applications and inspections.
