- Finance professionals will be especially interested in Deakins Master of International Finance as the coursework and research components have been designed to enhance professional practice in a range of financial domains.
- The course will give you an understanding of the modern financial techniques underpinning investment, financing and risk management decisions of multinational corporations. Student will cover international financial markets, international corporate governance, alternative investments, derivative securities and international portfolio management.
- Student will develop analytical skills for making key financial management decisions, including time-value-of money and risk-return analysis, plus Student will learn how to apply basic mathematics to solve real-world financial decision problems. Through practice, Student will become adept to various digital technologies used to process complex financial data, information and ideas.
- This course aims to provide a high-level education in finance issues and research methodologies. Depending on your unit choice, you may be eligible for membership to Finance and Treasury Association, Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Information :

- Bachelor Degree or other qualification at a higher AQF level in any discipline OR
- Successful completion of Masters Qualifying Program OR
Other evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent.
Additional Information:
- ELP requirements can be waived off if applicants study at an institution within a non-English speaking country, but where English is the language of instruction and assessment for the whole institution, completed no more than 5 years prior to enrolment at Deakin has successfully completed 2 academic years of full-time study at a Bachelor degree level equivalent or higher, with a minimum WAM of 55.

An international student must obtain a Student VISA for study and work in Australia for a period longer than 6 months. There are different types of visa such as:
- Student Visa: The student visa is a temporary visa that allows students to come to Australia for a specified period to study at an Australian educational institution.
- Visitor Visa: After completing the course, students may need to apply for a Visitor (Tourist) Visa to attend the graduation ceremony or stay to have a holiday.
- Relative’s Visitor Visa: If student's relatives wish to attend the graduation ceremony and require a letter to assist with their Visitor Visa application, they can order an official Graduation letter.
- Temporary Graduate Visa: The Temporary Graduate Visa allows graduates to work in Australia temporarily after they finish their studies. It has two streams: the Graduate Work stream and the Post-Study Workstream.
- Applying For permanent Residency: International students who wish to remain in Australia permanently need to apply for Permanent Residency (PR).
- If students are under 18 years of age, they must have approved accommodation and welfare arrangements in place before a visa can be issued.
- Students will need the following documentation when applying for a Student VISA:
- A copy of the offer letter
- Valid Passport
- A copy of electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
- The visa application payment specified on the Department of Home Affairs website.
