DU PG admission 2023 will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG), conducted by NTA. Candidates seeking admission to PG courses at DU affiliated colleges must appear for the CUET PG examination. The last date to submit the CUET PG 2023 application form has been extended to May 5. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET PG 2023 exam will be held from June 1 to June 10, 2023.
Candidates seeking admission to PG programs of Delhi University will also have to apply on the Du admission portal – admission.uod.ac.in. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of CUET PG scores (except for programs where Audition Test/Sports Proficiency Test etc. are mandatory). DU PG Admission 2023
DU admission to Postgraduate courses is offered in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, and other Faculties/Departments. MA, M.Com, M.Sc are most opted PG programs at Delhi University. The basic eligibility for PG admission at DU is to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Delhi University admission 2023 to PG courses will be based on CUET PG scores. DU PG Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed BA in the relevant stream for getting admission into MA
- Candidates must have passed a B.Sc or equivalent in the concerned subject with 55% marks or above for getting admission into M.Sc
- Candidates must have passed B.Com or equivalent degree for getting admission into M.Com
- Candidates must have passed a B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in the concerned subject with 60% marks or above for getting admission into M.Tech
- Candidates must have 60% marks or above in Graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or have a certificate in computer course with a minimum duration of 3 months for getting admission into MCA
- Candidates must have passed LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/CW/PwD categories) for getting admission into LL.M.
- Candidate must have passed B.Ed. or equivalent with at least 50% marks for getting admission into M.Ed
- Candidate must have passed B.P.Ed. or equivalent or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks for getting admission into M.P.Ed
DU PG Selection Criteria
DU PG admission 2023 is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG). The selection will be based on CUET PG scores and a personal interview conducted by the respective department.
- 50% of the seats shall be filled through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and Interview/ Group Discussion.
- 50% of the total intake shall be filled by direct admission of the students of Delhi University only, on the basis of merit.

DU PG Admission 2023 Application Process
Following are the steps to apply for getting admission to DU:
- Visit the Delhi University admission portal for PG courses – admission.uod.ac.in.
- As a first-time user, the candidate shall navigate to the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the user account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
- Under the “Create New Account” page, the candidate should fill in all the required details.
- Candidate should verify his/her email-id and Password as henceforth, it will be used for admission purposes.
- Finally, the candidate should click the “Register” button to create a new user account.
- A confirmation will be sent to the registered email account/mobile number upon the creation of the registration account.
- Once registered, the applicant should log on to the UG/PG/Ph.D admission portal to complete the online registration form.
- Under the “Registered Applicant Sign In” tab, the candidate shall enter “registered email-id” as username and the “password”.
- Upon logging in, the candidate must complete the registration form divided among the following nine sections:
- Personal Details, Bank Details
- Academic Details
- Merit-Based Course Selection
- Entrance Based Course Selection
- Sports – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through Sports Quota.
- ECA – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through the ECA Quota.
- Uploads – Passport size photograph, Signature, Class X certificate/ mark sheet, Self-attested Class XII mark sheet, Self-attested certificates
- Preview – In this section, the applicant can preview the completed application.
