Course Curriculum
Course curriculum is up-to-date for the higher-level Computer Science courses (example: was taught Apache Spark in Database class, and modern Machine Learning frameworks in Machine Learning class). Lots of research opportunities if you know how to network with professors. It is feasible to get a 4.0 GPA if you work hard. There are no classes that are IMPOSSIBLE to get an A in.
Fees
Around $48k per year (including housing).
- The Computer Engineering curriculum requires a minimum of 122 credits to degree completion.
- Undergraduate students pursue a common foundation in math, physics, and chemistry, then concentrate on the computer engineering core curriculum during sophomore and junior years. Students thereby gain valuable technical skills for subsequent graduate study and/or technology advancement.
- The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering degree program at the University of Maryland is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
