- The program equips students with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for careers in these areas. The curriculum emphasizes health promotion, education and communication strategies for working with individuals, organizations and communities.
- A solid foundation in behavioral sciences principles and theories is provided, along with advanced skills in program planning, implementation and evaluation. While the curriculum consists of a number of required courses, students are also provided with adequate flexibility to select among numerous electives. Electives can be used to complete certificate programs in selected areas.
- The program consists of one academic year of coursework and a minimum of six-month field placement experience. The full-time field placement is designed to provide students with an opportunity, under supervision, to apply the knowledge and skills from the classroom to real health education, promotion and communication practice.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Students must complete their higher education.
- A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed higher education with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Submission of GRE exam scores is not compulsory but helps for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
