The Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics gives you a sound education in modern mathematics and its applications. The degree serves a variety of purposes: It maintains a vigorous and flexible program for mathematic majors; it provides the necessary mathematical foundations for engineering, science, and education students; and it offers an introduction to modern quantitative methods for students of management, economics, and the social sciences.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts ofhigh school and all previous education completed through counselor or advisor
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, EEI
- Applicants must have completed the following coursework: 4 units of English; 3-4 units of social studies or history, 3-4 units of college preparatory mathematics
- Submit an essay
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a school counselor or academic instructor
- Additional recommendations from work supervisors, pastors can be helpful
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT;
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
