University of South Dakota's Communication Sciences and Disorders program is designed as a preparatory curriculum for graduate study. Students do not emphasize either speech-language pathology or audiology at the undergraduate level, but instead take courses in both areas.
Audiologists and speech-language pathologists help individuals of all ages with a wide range of communication disorders.
After undergraduate studies our students go onto graduate school to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology or a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.).
