The Stony Brook University, Mechanical Engineering M.Sc program is designed to train students with professional goals in business, industry, or government. Besides the regular M.Sc program, they also offer a combined five-year B.E./M.S. program. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University has opened a new course of study in Energy Technologies leading to a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have completed an undergraduate degree in engineering or in an equivalent quantitative field.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 3.2 overall GPA.

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
