The MSTax program prepares students for the rapidly changing tax-accounting environment and the dynamic nature of the accounting profession. The accounting program received separate AACSB accreditation in 2009, and is one of only 170 universities in the United States to have received this distinction.

Gonzaga accounting students consisently perform at an exceptional rate on the CPA Exam. For 2014/15, Gonzaga held the 20th best 1st-time pass rates in the nation among 255 "large programs".

Gonzaga's Graduate Accounting program is currently ranked in the Top 30 by US News & World Report.

Additionally, our most recent graduating MSTax class boast a 97% job placement rate at graduation and 100% within 3 months of graduation. This is due to the strong relationships our faculty maintain with employers, as well as the excellent on-campus recruiting program.

The MSTax program is a 31-credit degree comprised of eleven core credits and twenty elective credits.
