Each graduate student in biology, before receiving the Master of Science degree, must attend a minimum of five departmental seminar programs. Attendance does not carry course credit.
Each student must complete 30 semester hours of course work including a thesis. Each student has an advisory committee of three faculty members, including a principal advisor who directs and approves thesis research and writing. The thesis is defended before the advisory committee, and a seminar presentation is given to the entire faculty.??
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all the previous education directly to the graduate school
- The coursework completed must be evalauted by an independent evaluation service and report should be sent directly to the college
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Minimum 3.0 GPA is required for admission
- Submit an essay describing personal and professional goals
- Submit English Langauge Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 79 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
