Ball State has a rich and long tradition of being a teachers college. In our programs, you will learn teaching methods, theories, and principles for teaching at the secondary level. While you will learn a lot from us, we encourage you to create your own thoughts about teaching. After all, it will be your class and your students. As you enter your senior year, you will have the opportunity to put your knowledge to work as you will spend a semester doing student teaching in an approved school.
